FONYUY NSOBUNRIKA Leonard (Mr Leo) is a creative and dynamic award winning afropop and afrofusion singer, songwriter, and cultural promoter from the North West region of Cameroon, born in 1990. He has over 2.5 million accumulated followers across social media platforms, and over 70 Million accumulated views across streaming platforms. He has headlined major events and performed across the world with artists such as DJ Arafat, PSquare and has featured artists such as Hiro, Kerozen, Daphne, & Revolution. He began music In 2007 with the “Breakthrough Voices” of Molyko and later under the mentorship of Salatiel at Apha Better Records, In 2014, he released the song “E Go Better”, which tells the story of a young man who hopes for a better tomorrow for himself and his girlfriend, he touched the hearts of many young people who recognized themselves in him. This song propelled him to the top and made Mr. Leo the new nugget to watch out for. Today he is a household name in across French Speaking Africa, with two albums, several awards and recognitions, including Knight of the National Order of Merit, Afrima Nomination and voting member of the Grammy Academy Through music, Mr Leo intends to nourish souls, ease pain and suffering for the listeners as he himself has been through music.
